The primary role of this position is to develop solutions to support government contracts and commercial bids in all vertical market segments, including municipal and industrial, drinking water and wastewater, - flow and sampling. Responsibilities include reviewing of engineering specifications and drawings, identifying required products, creating project specific technical solutions and managing sales projects to advance formal(direct) and informal (project) bid sales.
Reviewing of engineering specifications and drawings
Identifying Hach products
Creating project specific technical solutions
Compiling quotes and proposals for formal and informal bidding situations
Completion of Enforceable Bidding Term Contracts for the procurement of selected products and services for State, City, and Muni agencies
Support Hach Field Sales in maintaining and managing Term Contracts
Managing Bids by creating To-Do lists, timelines, and milestones
Putting together and managing the bidding team which can involve: Sellers, Application Development Managers, Sales Development Managers, Service Managers, etc
Maintain contact with Hach field sales, customers, and E&C contacts to track progress
In coordination with Hach field sales personnel, identify projects’ key influencers and competitors
Assist Hach field sales in developing project sales strategy, - identifying required or beneficial resources and all possible product offerings suited for each specific project
Support Hach field sales in developing and disseminating preliminary Hach equipment specifications suited to the individual requirements of each project
Support and assist Hach field sales personnel’s sales activity in all phases of the project, as it develops
Manage consistent high-pressure time sensitive requests
Working with the legal team to address commercial and legal terms and conditions
Bidding and Maintaining Contract Opportunities
The pay range for this role is $70,000-75,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
