We are currently looking for a Field Application Specialist in Torino or Genova.
In this role you will be the face of Beckman Coulter to customers and support them, directly impacting patient health and overall well-being. You will provide frontline support by resolving customer(s) problems and issues through technical and scientific expertise and troubleshooting. You will join our Post-sales team, which is focused on customer retention providing the best in class support, utilize critical thinking to resolve appropriate action to rapidly fix application issues, train our customers and verify the operational performance and data quality of systems in order to supply to our overall commercial organization.
You will travel within the North-West Italy region to support customers using your technical expertise with overnight required as needed. Many FASs operate independently within their geographic territory, however we operate as a team to share standard methodologies, mentor and receive experienced technical support.
Master's degree in Biology
Knowledge and understanding of laboratory practices, including a knowledge of laboratory disciplines (E. g. clinical chemistry, immunoassays, microbiology, hematology, urinalysis) and data management is highly preferable OR at least 1 year experience in the Medical Diagnostics industry
Proficient English is mandatory
Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography, as well as periodic travel to other areas and overnight travel. Hold a current valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Team-player with a strong focus on problem solving.
Ability to work flexible hours as business needs.
Ability to interact with customers on a detailed scientific basis to ensure customer needs are fulfilled
