Danaher Corporation HR Coordinator (Kongsberg PCS) in Gent, Belgium
We are looking for a HR Coordinator, based in the headquarters in Ghent (BE)!
The HR Coordinator will ensure operational and administrative day-to-day HR support.
You will support in a proactive way the execution of the HR processes, policies and documentation. This means that you are responsible for general HR administration and the payroll preparation in close collaboration with the external payroll provider. In addition, you are responsible for the input, update and reporting of HR data, and assist in HR projects. As HR coordinator you also provide support in internal communications.
Specific responsibilities include:
HR administration & payroll support
Carrying out all administrative formalities linked to the inflow, promotion and outflow of employees
Collect and keep up to date of all personnel data. Follow up the administration of job changes, salary increases, etc.
Payroll preparation for BE, UK, FR, ES and DE in close collaboration with the payroll Provider (SD Worx)
Administrative follow-up of files regarding insurance, thematic leave, industrial accidents, ...
Time registration and absence management (holidays, illness, …)
Follow up and calculation of bonus plans
You answer, inform and advise staff members on administrative personnel-related questions
Maintain support in Belgian social legislation. For other countries, acquire basic social legislation knowledge and provide support in close collaboration with SD Worx as expertise partner
Provide employee data for EOR partner worldwide (for payroll & benefits; 15 countries)
Input and update personal data of associates in the employee database
Ensure qualitative HR data reporting
Internal communication (not priority in transition phase)
Giving support in setting up a unique internal communication framework
Support in planning, writing and editing internal communication content (internal newsletter, emails, town hall briefing notes, internal social media, …)
Assists with internal communication campaigns
Collaboration in internal communication projects
Internal HR projects
You actively participate in projects with the aim of continuously optimizing HR services
You proactively formulate suggestions to your manager to optimize work procedures or make them more efficient.
Experience and/or Education
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business management or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in an HR supporting role
Proficiency in the use of MS Office
Experience with HR systems and hands-on attitude to manage data, with focus on accuracy and analytics
Excellent writing skills in English (internal communications)
Knowledge of Belgian social legislation and eagerness to acquire social legislation knowledge for other countries (FR, UK, ES, DE)
