Your challenge

The Solution Architect is effectively delivering expertise in designing, building & deploying Esko’s solutions at customers. Your primary customer base will be converters and trade shops who are seeking to enhance their processes for prepress & packaging management with the objective to increase profitability in this area. Your focus will be on integrations with 3rd party software, Automation Engine and WebCenter. It’s a results-oriented role where you will work with a diverse range of projects, technologies & customers.

A key part of the role is to host, scope & design workshops for customers to technically define the solutions to be implemented. You’ll be facilitating workshops to discover needs at Esko customers & prospects, as well as exploring new opportunities. You’ll communicate the workshop outcome in a customer-friendly presentation, making sure the customer needs are really met.

You’ll be a good communicator who can report findings and follow-up with customer, sales & pre-sales. As you start to deploy Esko's powerful workflows, ERP integrations and packaging management solutions from conceptualization till customer acceptance, you’ll provide the appropriate documentation to prepare, execute and complete deployment projects.

As a subject matter expert, you also get direct access to influence market requirements to improve our software, so you’ll need to continuously follow-up on new market trends, new technologies and feel comfortable to present & implement this to new & existing customers.

• Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills.

• Process oriented and experienced in project, quality, issue and risk management methodologies

• Strong problem-solving skills and able to run sophisticated business subjects.

• Technically well-grounded with a hands-on mentality to build processes using Esko standard software tools and scripts

• Independent and confident to prepare and deploy customer technical solutions

Your Education and/or Background Experience will have:

• Operational knowledge of the packaging industry, including design, prepress, printing and finishing.

• Good market understanding: Labels, Folding Carton, Corrugated, Flexible Packaging.

• Expert knowledge of Automation Engine & WebCenter with more than 3 years’ experience.

• Strong client consulting and relationship building skills. Ability to interact with senior level.

• Fluency in English & German. Additional language skills could be advantageous

• Travel required up to 25% of the time.
