The Solutions Support Engineer is responsible to register, diagnose and resolve customer problems in a fast, cost effective and efficient way. He/she has a focus on Brand Owners, Key and Global Accounts, EMEA-wide.
Solutions Support o Answer and register customer support requests in the CRM system and hereby respect the Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) o Diagnose and solve the reported problems, making use of remote tools o Decide on actions to be taken required to resolve a problem if no remote solution is available: involve colleagues, Global Support, request hotfixes or even a visit o Proactively inform the customer about the support request status considering SLA’s o Workflow Solutions advice and modifications o Summarize and pass over support requests to colleagues in an another region for 24/5 customers
Account Management o Organize regular meetings o SLA monitoring & reporting o Dedicated escalation handling o Upgrade scheduling
We hire two kinds of Software Support Engineers. You either specialize on the graphical side of our customers’ business (see A), or on the related IT side (see B). Both sides require adequate knowledge of the other, as they influence each other. * Have or acquire in-depth knowledge of Esko Software products, solutions * Knowledge about related products, 3d party, competitive solutions, the market * IT skills: Networking, Mac iOS and Windows OS, Databases (MS SQL,..), Networking (TCP/IP, firewalls,…), Mac iOS’s and Windows OS’s, SaaS, XML (HTML), Scripting * Good language skills: Excellent English and preferably one or more local languages
