The solutions support engineer will be responsible to register, diagnose and resolve customer problems in a fast, cost effective and efficient way. You will focus on Brand Owners, Key and Global Accounts, EMEA - wide
you answer and register customer support requests in the CRM system
you will diagnose and solve reported problems, making use of remote tools
decided on actions to be taken required to resolve a problem if no remote solution is available: involve colleagues, Global Support or even a visit
you will be proactively informing the customers about the support request status considering SLA´s
-summarize and pass over support requests to colleagues in an another region for 24/5 customers
organize regular meetings
SLA monitoring and reporting
dedicated escalation handling
keep your own knowledge up to date by attending relevant courses or self - study
assistance to the Solution Architect working for your Account - offer help during installation, implementation, documentation
We hire two kinds of Software Support Engineers. You either specialize on the graphical side of our customers’ business (see A), or on the related IT side (see B). Both sides require adequate knowledge of the other, as they influence each other.
Have or acquire in-depth knowledge of Esko Software products, solutions
Knowledge about related products, 3d party, competitive solutions, the market
IT skills: Networking, Mac iOS and Windows OS, Databases (MS SQL,..), Networking (TCP/IP, firewalls,…), Mac iOS’s and Windows OS’s, SaaS, XML (HTML), Scripting
Good language skills: Excellent English and preferably one or more local languages
