About the role:

This role will be 100% onsite.

The E-commerce and New Account Specialist will fulfill internal and external customer needs through a high volume of sophisticated electronic requests (averaging 40-50 requests per day each), while also handling phone requests (averaging 8-10 phone calls per day). In this role, you will provide unscripted, customized professional service with the expectation that you have sole ownership over the resolution window within a 24-hour window.

Schedule alternates between 8 AM EST - 4:30 PM EST and 8:30 AM EST - 5 PM EST, depending on business needs, Monday - Friday.

  • Understand, process, and confirm/track on average 30-40 customer purchase orders (PO) through various methods of receipt

  • Create new accounts in system (averaging 6-10 per day)

  • Maintain and navigate customer e-commerce websites to pull and confirm customer orders

  • Accurately read and decipher notes in order entry

  • Follow the escalation procedure for outstanding tasks

  • Enter error logs as needed for company

  • Problem solves own errors for root cause and countermeasure

  • High level of multitasking and prioritizing of complex tasks

Are you qualified?

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 2-3 years of business and/or customer contact center experience preferred

  • Technical equipment knowledge preferred
