Danaher Corporation APAC Payroll Analyst in Kuala Lampur,

  • Interface time and attendance data to the payroll system in a timely manner

  • Ensure payroll records are accurately maintained including all relevant statutory requirements.

  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of the payroll in accordance with the relevant deadlines.

  • Liaise with HR as appropriate with reference to new starters, changes to employee details and leavers.

  • Have solid knowledge of local Labor Laws and be able to question payroll calculations, comfortable in using local collective agreements and legal tools in pay calculation

  • Complete all post payroll activities in a timely and accurate manner (eg Finance report upload, disbursement of 3rd party payments, internal reporting etc)

  • Perform the above payroll activities and other countries for the APAC region countries, as required

  • Resolve payroll related queries from both employees and other functions

  • Maintain documented payroll procedures ensuring that they up-to-date for all areas of responsibility.

  • Verify payroll tax filing for all legal entities

  • Communicate with controllers to assist in reconciliation, general ledger or journal entry enquiries

  • Accurate and timely manner in which payroll related actions and reports are prepared and processed

  • Timely response to employee enquiries focusing on a high level of customer service

  • The ability to develop, maintain and communicate current accurate payroll records, procedures, and policies

  • The ability to communicate, facilitate and engage proactively with team members, staff managers, and department managers as needed

  • Ensure the processing of new hires, transfers, promotions and terminations is accurate, compliant, and timely.

  • Recommend and implement changes leading to best practice operations.

  • Communicate effectively with customers and other functions.

  • Communicate with team members and employees in support of check reversals

  • Ensure correct system maintenance including employee master data, wages, benefits, in line with contracts.

  • Management reporting, including monthly results, quarterly and year-end reports (i.e. gross payroll, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.).

  • Administer compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements

  • Maintains payroll documentation.
