About the role:
As a key member of our Customer Service Team, you will be handling customer phones calls, emails and chat support. It is our mission to delight customers with every interaction. Every contact should make the customer feel special and looked after. Tasks include order entry, opportunistic sales, lead generation, pre-sale inquiries, post-sale inquiries. You will be handling at least 80 customer contacts per day. It is preferred the agent has at least three years of experience in Customer Service and be fluent in French. This position is vital to meet target of 95% same-day order entry, 24-hr email turnaround, and opportunistic sales of over $ 6.4M in 2021.
This role is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement in which you can work part-time at the company location and part-time remotely from your home.
Provides timely, accurate answers to internal and external customers through telephone, email, and chat.
Sets up new customer accounts and enters customer export transactions for all markets around the world
Works in handling internal export orders that are shipped to international Hach warehouses
Assists with requests on pricing, shipping, product availability, terms and conditions, and item information
Assists customers in resolving product needs and provides basic assistance on products
Assists with resolving customer complaints and problems.
Reviews all commercial terms and conditions requirements to ensure adherence with Hach Global Business Practices
Participates in customer conference calls when export business expertise is needed
Ensures strict adherence to Trade Compliance regulations
Ensures long-term customer relationships by applying professional customer service skills
Identify sales opportunities and offer suggestions for complementary items to the customer
Identifies and submits sales leads
Strong ability to work well in team environment
Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization abilities
Follows all Standard Work processes for export business
Completes training modules and customer service certifications
Demonstrates competency to perform a range of day-to-day activities
Recognizes and solves typical problems without supervisory approval
Achieves high accuracy of assigned tasks and duties with limited supervision
Uses courteous verbal and written communication skills
Applies resources and display strong ownership skills
Ability to accomplish multiple goals by delivering expected results

Are you qualified:
Fluent in verbal and written French and English
High School graduate or equivalent. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
4+ years customer service experience
2+ years export business experience
Committed to delighting customers in every interaction
Knowledge of customer support processes (i.e. pricing, products, returns, etc.).
Knowledge of export business and trade compliance regulations
Ability to resolve customer complaints/problems and provide follow-up to customers and supervisor.
Ability to make sound customer-related decisions and respond quickly to the needs of the customer.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced contact center environment, with strong emphasis on multi-tasking while actively listening to customers
Computer proficiency. Experience with Microsoft Office products required. Experience with Oracle preferred
The hourly range for this role is $20 - 22.50/hour . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
