We are currently seeking a Microbiologist I who will be responsible for manufacturing and analytical verification of products, revising and improving work procedures, processes, and systems in an effort to ensure best practices which will result in a safe work environment, improved productivity and to guarantee the highest level of quality for manufactured products in our industry.
What we’ll get you doing:
Manufacture products with precision
Manage, maintain, and restock all raw materials and lab supplies. Manage systems for ensuring products which have non-saleable shelf lives remaining are removed from inventory
Work efficiently and independently in a fast paced, highly evolving environment
Perform routine calibration and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation, tools, and supplies
Cross-train with colleagues on manufacturing procedures to achieve a high level of competency in the manufacturing of all products
The essential requirements of the role include:
B.S. in Chemistry, Microbiology, or related scientific discipline, or equivalent years of working experience
1+ years of manufacturing and packaging experience, in a laboratory setting preferred
Knowledge of the principles and practices of laboratory quality assurance and quality control; and laboratory safety practices and procedures
Advanced knowledge Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and data base applications
The ability to work as part of a team and to garner respect of colleagues based on an exemplary work ethic, attention to detail, positive attitude, and contribution to the progress of the company
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Updating and/or revising work procedures and SOP’s for manufacturing and quality control
Knowledge of analytical quality control procedure for each product in production and work with QC team members to evaluate and continuously improve work procedures
The salary range for this role is $60k-$70k. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
