Ormco works closely with orthodontists to improve existing products and develop new products primarily through its Champion programs in which selected orthodontists assist Ormco in designing, developing and ultimately educating users on new product and technique innovations.

Description
POSITION SUMMARY: The Digital Technical Specialist position will contain three important components: Sales, Technical installation and Training the orthodontists. The focus will be on providing in-office trainings to customers and serve as a go-to person for technical and clinical questions, as well as supporting efforts of the Ormco in-country sales team.

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*

w Act as technical/commercial liaison between the customer, technical support and the sales specialists when training new customers on a digital systems for use in the dental industry

w He or she will help setting up/installing the digital impression system as well as support training sales force and service personnel

w The individual will help translate user feedback into technical specifications for future product enhancements.

w Responsible for growing and protecting digital (existing) business

w Works closely together with key accounts to create extra demand

w Organizes WebEx-Approver training sessions for existing & new users

w Works closely with Marketing to fulfill Marketing needs for Insignia accounts

w Organizes local Insignia Study meetings

w Works closely with Universities & Hospitals to introduce Insignia

w Introduces Insignia to key accounts in the country

Qualification

Most Important Qualifications and Competencies:

w Bachelor level, preferably in Dental field, or equivalent experience

w Full understanding of the user needs and familiar with working in a dental office setting

w Has a technical skillset, as well as, firm presentation and selling skills.

w Experience with CAD/CAM systems

w Clinical experience from dentistry or other healthcare setting

w Experience with training new technology products

w Fluent in local language and English
