This role is a subject matter expert role and does not involve people management. The EHS Leader is responsible for Cytiva Switzerland site overall EHS activities. This position is located in Grens, Vaud, Switzerland and will be an onsite position. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
Implement EHS Policy and Culture on site
Drive continuous improvement culture around safety & sustainability: educate and empower people
Evaluate facility EHS conditions, assess risks and develop appropriate corrective-action plans and budgets to address deficiencies in comparison to regulations and internal policy/protocol.
Drive EHS compliance
Lead by example, observe through daily Gemba walk, evaluate & assess gaps, drive work out & share action needed from teams to close the gaps; and provide EHS guidance about local regulation
Who you are:
EHS Engineering or Master degree with Swiss recognition of diploma
Experience with Swiss EHS regulation in the industry
Hands-on and pragmatic, with strong verbal and written communication skills and facilitation experience
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Fluent in French & English
It would be a plus if you also possess:
Experience in Biomedical/Life Science
SUVA certification/training
