Pall Corporation has an opportunity available for an Applications Specialist, Single-Use Technologies. This role is perfect for a process development scientist or engineer who is collaborative, a fast thinker and learner, and who loves to travel.
The Applications Specialist will provide technical support for Pall single-use technologies to external stakeholders (customers, partners) and internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Quality, Engineering, R&D). If you have single use experience and love problem solving, this is the job for you!
Our Applications Specialists:Travel up to 50% of the timeHave home based officesProvide best in class scientific support to our customersThrive in a fast-paced environment, never having the same day twice.The scope of work will include providing technical guidance and conducting training, site investigations and product trials for customers. Internally, the Applications Specialist will also provide market intelligence (voice of the customer) and other technical consultation. Work will be performed remotely at customer sites throughout Europe and adjacent territories, and at Pall sites.
The hire must live within close proximity to an airport.
Minimum Qualifications•Bachelor of Science Degree in a Life Science, Physical Science, or Engineering field•Relevant experience required: a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the biotechnology or biopharmaceutical industry is most desirable; experience in a related field (e.g., small molecule pharma, pharma process engineering), would be considered•A relevant Master’s degree would also be considered in lieu of 2 years’ experience•Competence with common software tools (Microsoft Office)
Preferred Qualifications•Experience with the use of single-use technologies and/or filtration/separation technologies in a biotechnology manufacturing context•Knowledge of biotechnology manufacturing processes and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
