Danaher Corporation Clinical Sales Manager in Guangzhou, China

POSITION TITLE: Clinical Sales Manager

REPORTS TO: Associate Sales Director-NSP

FUNCTION: This position is responsible for working closely with sales team of National Sales Project and NSP’s customer and distributor.


This position is responsible to develop field business with medical and clinical knowledge, deliver clinical value to the distributors and end customers, work with all distributors and customers to design and innovate the clinical solution to optimize the assay promotion tactics in the healthcare eco-system.


The incumbent will also be responsible for, but not limiting to the following duties:

  • Make reagent sales plan of NSP

  • Achieve the NSP reagent sales target together with NSP sales.

  • Explore the breakthroughs of the clinical value of primary medical.

  • Provide the leadership in clinical value management and clinical education plan to distributors and end customers together with sales.

  • Work closely with NSP sales team and optimize the sales tools from the medical point of view.

  • Deliver clinical value to the distributors and end customers, work with all distributors and customers to design and innovate the clinical solution to optimize the assay promotion tactics.

  • Organize the medical events and ensure all the activities align with compliance and requirements.

  • Provide support to the business partner with the clinical knowledge.

  • Act as primary liaison between internal and external groups regarding product safety surveillance.

  • External contacts for this position include clinicians, laboratory director, dealers, 3rd partner and Government

  • Internal contacts include all sales, marketing and clinical department staff members as well as other pre-sale and post-sale department staff in other offices of the company to gain information or to resolve problems.


The incumbent of this position is responsible for his/her own work. Only new work is reviewed before issue, all other work is handled independently, reporting status to managers/supervisor. Some work requires analysis and use of initiative and independent judgment, but most assignments are specific and well defined.



  • Master’s degree of Medicine or Clinical Laboratory Medicine from medical school.


  • Good English skills in speaking, reading and writing

  • Good presentation skill and communication skill


  • Three five years working experience in IVD or Pharmacy

  • Preferred the candidates who worked as both MSL and clinical sales in Pharmacy, IVD, medical equipment, domestic medical company or 3rd lab.

  • Preferred the candidates who worked as a doctor in hospital.

  • Attends external seminars and visits customers and other companies to continue learning

  • Uses understanding of the customer’s needs and expectations to identify and suggest ideas or enhancements

  • Searches for ways to increase customer satisfaction

  • Excellent in teamwork


This position may require business traveling in a frequently situation.


This position functions in a general office environment.
