Danaher Corporation District Sales Manager, ICL in Guangzhou, China
To maximize business opportunities in the assigned district across product portfolios by effectively developing, managing and supporting sales team and channel partners. Lead field sales force to grow the sales of related product portfolio and provide direct and efficient sales service to increase customer’s satisfaction and loyalty.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and manage ICL business to ensure that revenue targets are well achieved.
Define clear objectives and clear performance indicators for the ICL and channel partners to follow, monitor and report the performance of ICL and channel partners on a regular basis with sales tools.
Develop the ICL network to cover the different areas in depth in order to maximize the sales from each area.
Work with Marketing, Clinical Solutions, Field Application and Customer Care team to develop value-adding packages to increase customer loyalty and maximize business potential.
Maximize business opportunities and grow revenue across the product portfolio for the Independent Labs and the end user .
Develop ICL key decision maker for company products by proactive communication on product and technology, routine sales visits and marketing & academic programs or specific evaluation projects.
Develop partnerships and long-term relationships with existing and new key customers
Monitor and report on competitor activity and market trends in the responsible territories.
Participate in Sales, Marketing, Application and Scientific programs as required.
TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES: (REQUIRED)
- Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time
Education and Experience (in years):
Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in clinical medicine, laboratory medicine, molecular biology, microbiology, or related major
5+ years sales experience in hospital, clinical laboratory, and/or life science markets
3+ years sales management experience in MNCs of medical device or IVD industry, preferably with team leading experience
Knowledge and skills:
Excellent understanding of hospital customer and/or Govt. department purchasing process
Good knowledge of the infectious disease and/or oncology and the related market is a plus
Excellent professional selling skills to government departments, laboratory technicians, clinicians and healthcare professionals
Trackable record in meeting sales targets, distribution development
Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills and planning ability.
Strong execution ability in the field and is willing to accept frequent travels
Good team player with open mind, self-motivation. Creative but result oriented, can work under pressure with optimistic.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint applications
Proficient in both Mandarin and English
