Danaher Corporation Business Intelligence Intern in Guelph, Ontario
Provides insights and supports tactical and strategic decisions through collection and structuring of data
Supports the management team in preparing and analyzing problems (Problem Solving Process), applying the right analysis to develop creative solutions to complex business problems
Works with Business Development, Sales, Business Unit and Marketing to define KPIs and data points to be captured
Analyze business and market trends to recommend new strategies
Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement.
Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the commercial organization in a timely fashion. Recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
Builds strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
Act as a liaison/partner between the Sales Team and other internal customers.
Prepares Daily Management reports: Monthly and Quarterly KPIs, weekly Growth Room and forecast meetings, DM/VM boards, etc.
Synthesize and distill a wide range of data and information into workable, actionable intelligence
Continuously look to improve current reporting practices and concepts
Audit data and metrics to ensure data is accurate and meaningful
Advanced Microsoft Excel user, Access is an asset
Experience working with CRM Systems (preferably Salesforce.com)
Ability to multitask and prioritize to drive multiple complex tasks simultaneously
Confident self-starter that can work independently and act with a focus on continuous improvement
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Attention to detail with drive for results
Passion for solving challenges, demonstrated innovative thinking and problem-solving skill
Strong analytical skills and an astute understanding of business processes.
