Field Service Engineer

Ideally based in Slough, M4 or surrounding areas.

Company Car, 10% Bonus, Private Medical, Pension, and Competitive salary

In this role you will be providing engineering support along with service, repair and support of the Radiometer product line, in accordance with customer requirements. You will have full responsibility for your region which covers Slough, Reading and Surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Field Service Manager, the Field Service Engineer provides onsite customer support and is the main face of the company to our customers

  • Adhere to customer focused strategies to achieve business objectives and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Build and maintain customer relationships in area of accountability

  • Maintain personal knowledge development

  • Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all paperwork and reports and maintain accurate car inventory

  • Carry out tasks that are reasonably requested

  • Requirements for the position

  • HNC/ HND in Electronics would be ideal although relevant work experience would be considered

  • A self-motivated individual who has an enthusiastic approach to customer service and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Continuously seek to add value to the services provided and achieve first time fixes, leading to reduced breakdown times, lower costs to customer, thus gaining customer satisfaction and retention.

  • IT literate, Good knowledge of Microsoft office products & confident with other IT applications

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

  • Full UK driving license.
