Danaher Corporation Test Analyst (Project Lead) in Guildford, United Kingdom
What will you be doing?
Working in an Agile team, you will be responsible for the team test strategy and co-ordinating the two or three other testers in the team. You will also be responsible for reviewing Test Estimates and Test Scripts, driving quality and compliance and, where applicable, creating and executing test scripts. Identifying and championing team improvements will also be part of day-to-day job.
Beyond your feature team, you will be handling collaboration with other teams and wider stakeholders, mentor testers and developers and sustaining a positive environment and with a continuous improvement mentality.
This role would be an ideal opportunity for an experienced software tester looking to develop their horizon beyond their day-to-day work into co-ordination and leadership.
We’d like you to have…
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Software Testing of Cloud based (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure), distributed systems.
ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing (or equivalent) qualification
An analytical mindset to independently analyse a system, requirement or problem and report on testing results.
Experience in using automation tools to support testing and understanding of automation best practices.
The ability and willingness to learn and adapt to changes in technology and process.
Demonstrated co-ordination and leadership skills, building and maintaining an engaged and motivated small team.
Strong skills in verbal and written communication with the ability to listen actively with appropriate responses considering the views of others.
It’s advantageous if you also have…
Experience of Testing on AWS architecture (preferably multi-tenancy)
Demonstrable Knowledge and experience of SQL databases, scripting in a language such as Bash, Python, Scala, Go.
Prior experience working in Linux environments.
Exposure to testing non-functional requirements such as performance and security
