We are hiring a Healthcare Solutions Architect to develop and execute a successful sales strategy for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in the territory while working collaboratively with sales and service counterparts to achieve Leica Biosystems performance targets and exceeding customer expectations. The specific health care customer (hospital and reference laboratories) call points include: Department Head, PI, Scientist, Chief of Pathology/Medical Director, Chief Information Officer, Laboratory Administrative Director. You should be comfortable calling on senior management, delivering vision, and orchestrating multi-departmental site evaluations. Targeted customers for the life science position will include Academic Medical Centers, Pharmaceutical, Bio Pharma, Biotech companies, Government and Veterinary Labs
All the responsibilities we will trust you with:
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual product sales goals set for the territory
Collaborating with the Pathology Imaging Sales Specialist, execute product demonstrations for clients at the correct sales stage in SFDC, maintaining a closed/won success rate of >60%.
Clearly communicate complex and technical product information as well as technical IT information to a variety of stakeholders
Serve as technical expert for Aperio scanner product line
Maintain current knowledge of competition and market through study of competitive marketing information, competitive literature, and field surveillance of competition
Maintain accurate and timely prospect and customer data in SFDC
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance
Ensure the integrity of data is accurate and representative of current customer base
Travel overnight as necessary (estimated at 50%) for all customer appointments, trade shows and customer meetings. Customer call activity will be a balance of existing customers accounts to expand our current base, meeting with active opportunities and prospecting for new opportunities in the assigned geography
Coordinate sales activities within national, multi-site, laboratory accounts by interacting with other departments in the organization to ensure the proper handling of customer requirements, completing Solution Design Guide (SDG) with the key stake holders to facilitate fast implementation of client orders.
Using SDG outline, ensure we have all required information and client IT contacts to drive implementation of scanners to <30 days from receipt of purchase order
Performs client scanner and software training
Performs client workflow evaluation
Complete client IT security documents and use appropriate internal resources to gather information when needed.
Operating Systems Windows, Unix/Linux.
CDA, XDS..etc), PACS, and HL7 version 2.x messaging (ADT, OML, ORM, ORU) is a plus.
Experience with IHE and HIE technologies and standards (DICOM, HL7, LOINC, SNOMED
Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles and Disaster Recovery concepts.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
BA/BS Degree Experience required
Minimum 5+ years relevant sales, applications or technical experience (integration and/or digital pathology)
Understanding or Cloud, Virtualization Technologies, Load Balancing, High Availability and
Understanding of Databases (relational and nosql)
Strong working knowledge of the overall life science, and health care laboratory, and reference laboratory industry
Internal Candidate Requirements:
Promotion – P3 GCRF level applicant:
Perform 90%+ to quota 2 out of 3 years (Within year is year to date)
18 months in role (or business justification)
Lateral Move – P4 GCRF level applicant:
Perform 85%+ to quota year to date
18 months in role (or business justification)
Requires Sales Director approval
