For our European IT Service Team we are currently looking for an experiences and motivated IT Support Specialist (m/f/d) located at out office in Heerbrugg, Switzerland.

In this role you will provide first class end user’s on-site and remote support.

Your areas of responsibility will include:

  • 1st level support

  • Workplace device management


  • Purchase of Hard- and Software for internal usage to ensure that business processes can be executed. Purchase of the budgeted IT investments and contact with suppliers.

  • Creation of device configurations and obtaining offers from specified suppliers.

IT Management

  • Administration of the desktop management system

  • Documentation in the ticket system

  • Support and enforcement of global IT standards

Hard- /Software-Support

  • Consult employees by selecting new Software Products to ensure that the correct software will be selected, and the most efficient workflow can be ensured

  • Installation of software products on end devices

  • Timely installation, commissioning and maintenance of PC systems

Your profile:

  • Completed Apprenticeship as a Computer Scientist or similar education in IT field

  • First working experiences in IT environment in a similar technical support role with direct customer contact

  • Knowledge of network technology and IT security is an advantage

  • Structured and independent way of working with high problem-solving skills

  • High customer orientation and sense of urgency

  • Adheres to commitments and deadlines

  • Team Player

  • Stress-resistance, flexibility and multi-tasking

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Fluent in English and German language
