Danaher Corporation Distribution Sales Specialist - Central Europe, Benelux, Germany in Hoegaarden, Belgium

This role may be based anywhere within the assigned territory

Position Objective

  • Develop, grow, and maintain channel partner relationships

  • Regularly appraise the channel partner and relationship and ensure we are receiving best in class service for our products

  • Regularly review the channel partner strategy and maintain a dossier on alternative solutions

  • Communicate to management market conditions, regulatory changes & channel partner performance

  • Participate in aftermarket channel growth room and assigned actions within geographic region

Essential Job Functions:

  • Identify and generate plans to develop and grow business with channel partners

  • Generate, update and manage territory annual sales and order forecast

  • Provide a monthly updated territory forecast for orders and shipments for all channel partners

  • Work with marketing to generate and implement a pricing strategy and review and update on an annual basis

  • Collaborate with PLM and other stakeholders to ensure product and market readiness for launch of new products

  • Maintain close knowledge of competitive pricing and propose adjustments where necessary and in parallel work with Ops and engineering to assess potential cost savings

  • Organize and coordinate training for channel partners and perform a post training assessment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in business or technical field, or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years in Food and Beverage markets

  • Proficient in English (spoken and written) and at least one other local language

  • Significant experience with managing channel partners or working in a channel partner function

Position Competencies

  • Ability to work with large, cross functional Teams at Customers and within Pall

  • Ability to prioritize actions and have a sense of urgency to meet deadlines

  • Understanding of financial reports and tools

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • A self-starter and able to work under own initiative and define own goals

  • Willingness to start early and work late to enable full global communication

Other Requirements

  • To work safely and to comply with the company’s health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.

  • Be flexible to travel as required, could be 30 to 50% of the time including international
