Danaher Corporation Master Scheduler in Hoegaarden, Belgium
Goal of the Position:
The Master Scheduler creates, maintains and communicates the Master and Detailed Production Schedule taking into account customer requirements, available capacity, inventory and production efficiency.
Review daily Material Requirement Planning to pick-up new sales order booking or intercompany demand;
Review capacity availability and initiate change request in case of changing demand pattern ;
Review component availability and review with the responsible buyer;
Create a daily execution plan with accurate priority setting and propose corrective action plan if needed;
Supervise production progress and coordinate intermediate work centers;
Manage and control the inventory of finished goods and semi-finished goods
Coordinate between customer service, production, warehousing, purchasing and logistics to guarantee OTD (on time delivery) for our customers and to allow efficient material transfer from external warehouse.
Initiate & drive process improvements.
Education, Skills and Competencies:
Higher academic education;
Analytically driven, able to see the whole picture;
Able to build bridges between departments;
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment;
In-depth knowledge of SAP;
Proficient in Dutch and English.
