Danaher Corporation Master Scheduler in Hoegaarden, Belgium

Goal of the Position:

The Master Scheduler creates, maintains and communicates the Master and Detailed Production Schedule taking into account customer requirements, available capacity, inventory and production efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Review daily Material Requirement Planning to pick-up new sales order booking or intercompany demand;

  • Review capacity availability and initiate change request in case of changing demand pattern ;

  • Review component availability and review with the responsible buyer;

  • Create a daily execution plan with accurate priority setting and propose corrective action plan if needed;

  • Supervise production progress and coordinate intermediate work centers;

  • Manage and control the inventory of finished goods and semi-finished goods

  • Coordinate between customer service, production, warehousing, purchasing and logistics to guarantee OTD (on time delivery) for our customers and to allow efficient material transfer from external warehouse.

  • Initiate & drive process improvements.

Education, Skills and Competencies:

  • Higher academic education;

  • Analytically driven, able to see the whole picture;

  • Able to build bridges between departments;

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment;

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP;

  • Proficient in Dutch and English.
