Goal of the position:

The Sales Engineer visits end-user customers in Refineries, Polymer Production and related Markets in order to grow the business, both in Capital Projects, as well as Services and Retrofits!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales strategies, implement sales action plans, follow through, and monitor results;

  • Develop relationships and network - on and off-site - to create and follow opportunities related to Filtration, Separation in Processes;

  • Promote solutions and create leads. Present and defend return on investment;

  • Maintain and manage an active CRM & sales funnel;

  • Forecast and follow run rate in consumables businesses;

  • Promote new products and applications in your region;

  • Provide customer support to existing customers;

  • Follow up of quotations supplied to customers;

  • Deal with customer queries and complaints;

  • Ensure customer satisfaction.

Education, Skills and Competencies:

  • Higher Degree in a technical field;

  • Background in a Fuel and Chemical environment;

  • Well introduced in the BeNeLux Fuel and Chemical industry (ideally refineries, Polymers);

  • Experience in the Sales of B2B Service and Rental;

  • Reporting tools such as CRM, Sales Pipeline, are a must;

  • Familiar with Refinery and Steamcracker Industrial process treatment or cleaning applications;

  • Proficient in English, Dutch and/or French;

  • Sales Oriented, highly independent.
