Danaher Corporation Inside Sales Representative in Houston, Texas


The Inside Sales Representative generates sales of various HemoCue product lines primarily over the phone. Supports field Sales within a defined region that includes but is not limited to the following activities: cross-selling, loyalty programs, promotions, analytics, qualifying leads, special projects, and specific internal telephone initiatives.


  • Generate purchase history reports and analyze ordering patterns of existing ordering sites and forecast anticipated Sales.

  • Actively identify and close Analyzer, Consumable, & Promo upgrade opportunities.

  • Maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database with updates related to Point of Contact (POC) information, sales call activities, funnel development, and other data points

  • Effectively communicate customer-facing needs to Field Sales and Training Specialists.

  • Engage in special projects and Targeted Internal Sales/Marketing Initiatives as defined by Area Sales Manager (ASM).

III.REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITIONPosition Specific Competencies / Experience

  • Minimum 3 years relevant inside or outside sales experience preferred

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Sales focused

  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced work environment


  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.


  • English

IT·Mid-level to advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), internet, video conferencing, and file sharing application skills.·Proficiency in SaleForce.com preferred.Travel

  • Less than 10%
