This position of Electronic Design Engineer is a phenomenal opportunity to join a small, high performing multi-discipline design team with a proven track record of developing World leading products.

After training and a tailored learning programme when you join, your responsibilities will include:

  • Design using microprocessors, microcontrollers, CPLD, FPGA and interfacing to digital and analogue sensors and transducers.

  • Design and implementation of test rigs and software, for design verification and functional test.

  • Programmable logic design and test benches for individual modules up to whole designs.

  • Documentation of the specification and implementation of products.

  • Design for volume production of products that are safe, reliable, and meet required industry standards.

We are looking for a professional who is:

  • Self-Motivated and independent – can complete tasks right first time, timely, with minimal direction.

  • Methodical – process driven, detail orientated, capable of highly accurate data collection.

  • Great Teammate – highly effective at teamwork and communication.

  • Flexible – comfortable with multi-tasking, able to optimally prioritize time bound tasks

Your Education and/or Background Experience will include:

  • Electronic Engineering (Min 2:1 or equivalent).

  • Digital electronic design (microcontroller, microprocessor, CPLD, FPGA)

  • Analogue electronic design (interfacing to sensors, transducers)

  • Programmable logic design is desirable (VHDL for Altera).

  • Design verification and functional test software is desirable (C/C++, Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
