Job Summary:

Reporting to the Production Team Leader, your key role will be to help run the cell effectively, removing bottle necks and ensuring safety, quality, delivery and production targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity measurement and reporting at daily QDIP meetings
  • Sustain 5S/SWK
  • Sustain TPM in your assigned area
  • Train, coach and certify associates (new/existing and temps) in all aspects of relevant Cell SWK
  • Help Identifying and fix (PSP) Quality/Productivity/Bottleneck issues
  • Repairs of faulty Cell products
  • Run the Printhead cell when the Team Leader is absent

Desirable - Minimum 5 GCSE's at grade A-C including English and Maths

Work Experience Direct Leadership of a Team within a Manufacturing Environment Experience of demand management in a make to order environment Experience of managing safety critical processes Experience in cross training associates

Knowledge & Skills Strong IT skills, including the use of MS Word, Excel & Powerpoint Excellent analytical and Problem Solving Skills Use of Daily Visual Management tools Active knowledge of Lean Tools (Visual Management,Single piece flow, SMED, TPM, Kanban, Heijunka, Kaizen) Management of improvement plan on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity as per PD/KPI Able to apply 5S/SWK tool People Management Skills

Competencies Proven ability to lead and motivate teams Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact positively with people from a number of functions and levels within the organisation Data driven and process orientated Time management, scheduling and prioritisation skills Ability to make effective decisions in an expedient manner while maintaining extremely high QDIP standards Technical problem solving skills
