JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE : Software engineer

Videojet is seeking a bright and enthusiastic Software Engineer to join an existing team developing world leading industrial printing solutions.

Your challenge

After training and a tailored learning program when you join, you will design and develop software for the core product range, working mainly with C++ and Qt to write real-time embedded applications targeting a Linux OS platform. You will work as part of an international team of developers and testers and you will enjoy getting hands-on in the labs during development and testing.

You will have

• Commercial C++ development experience and can produce clear well-structured code

• Good working knowledge of Linux OS

• Ability to solve complex problems and innovate new ideas

• Good communication skills and enjoy working in a supportive team

• Enthusiasm for agile development methodologies such as scrum

Your Education and/or Background Experience will have:

• Bachelor’s degree (or better) in a mathematical, engineering or scientific subject

• Minimum of five years’ experience of commercial software engineering

• Experience of developing real-time embedded software

• Experience of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Crucible), SVN, Git would be helpful

• Experience of inkjet printers would be an advantage
