Essential Duties, Critical Success Factors, Responsibilities, Authorities and Required Interactions:

· Ensure the successful performance and profit generation of the company by overseeing teams of regional sales, business development, and marketing ensure team India meets or exceeds the set business targets

· Must be able to effectively communicate business strategy and tactics in a way that motivates the sales and marketing organization, and effectively communicates regional strategy, performance and needs to VP Global Sales.

· Annual business plan preparation and budget submission for the region

· Collaborate with the respective leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, both globally and regionally, to ensure business growth, exceptional customer care and support the identification of innovation opportunities and unmet market needs for the respective market segments within India;

· Provide regional monthly forecast and business review to global leadership.

· Meets frequently with clients and is skilled in forging strong, lasting relationships with key clients

· Develops & implements strategic sales & support programs for customers to accomplish specific company, departmental, brand & product objectives.

· Coach and motivate team to exceed expectations through the development of incentive programs, team activities and mentoring

· Develop a diverse organization, retain talents and establish solid succession plans for the organization

· Has a positive attitude, is a team player and strives to learn and contribute to the company culture, help to teach the culture of Phenomenex

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor degree in Life Science or similar required, MBA is desired.

• 15 years of work experience and at least 10 years in a management position with P&L responsibility, in life science or related industry.

• Successfully managed a sizeable team and demonstrated ability to lead an organization including sales, marketing, customer service, application and business management functions;

• Demonstrated strong strategic and analytical skills.

• Provides leadership and able to motivate, direct and lead others.

• Extremely skilled in the art of negotiation.

• Strong organizational skill, plans and assigns resources in a detailed fashion

Travel

Up to 25% domestic.
