We're looking for a multidimensional team leader to manage a team of electrical and firmware design engineers through all phases of development including requirement specification, design, implementation, hardware/software integration, testing and documentation.
You will aid the R&D department by ensuring the team’s compliance with medical device regulations and standards as well as company procedures, such as writing design history file elements, risk analysis, software technical reviews and code inspections.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
9+ years of related experience; 2+ years of experience as a manager
Experience crafting electrical architecture given user needs and design inputs.
Knowledge of EMC/EMI design principles
Demonstrated analytical skills, problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with other organization leaders and scientists.
Excellent time management, meeting facilitation, communication and documentation skills
Experience in project management (i.e. Scrum Master or PMP certified)
Embedded software development and hardware development experience in the scientific research domain
Experience developing medical devices and proven understanding of FDA Quality System Regulation
