The Business Analyst will be the analytics expert on the Materials Team. They will own discovery, interpretation, and communication of meaningful patterns in the data. They will be able to use existing tools to gather data and drive problem solving and leverage new tools to enhance and improve how data is used. This position will use data to drive decisions and action.

This position will be part of a collaborative team driving continuous improvement; they will be responsible for providing business analysis, project management and hands-on system support and application development and enhancements. The will be designing, developing, implementing, customizing and integrating applications to provide solutions for the Materials Team within a large scale Life Sciences organization. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing the organization’s needs, business processes, identifying business problems and proposing technology options to meet evolving business requirements and standards for reliability, scalability, availability, and usability.

This position will be required to communicate effectively across the entire organization; interacting with Buyer, Planners, Senior Leadership, Finance, etc. This position will be a champion for the material process in the plant. They will promote problem solving at the point of impact, promote coaching and mentoring where gaps are identified, and promote teamwork to achieve plant metrics

The Business Analyst will report directly to the Materials Manager for the Indianapolis facility and will sit on the Materials Leadership Team. This position will be responsible for analyzing complex business problems at a fast pace, communicating the findings and recommendations to leadership, and adapting the analysis to changing business needs.

* Bachelor's Degree with 2 Years of Experience OR * Master’s Degree with 0-2 Years of Experience * Degree focused in Mathematics, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, or Computer Science * Advanced User in Microsoft Excel * Advanced User in Tableau * Experience in VBA and SQL * Strong Computer Skills Required * Strong analytical skills, initiative, judgment and problem solving ability * Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments * Proven experience in project management * Experience with supply chain and inventory management systems * Experience with the Sales and Operation Planning process * Excellent organizational and leadership skills * Ability to communicate effectively across teams and upwards through the organization * Detailed oriented and focused on delivering value to the factory BECKRSR
