This position is part of the Field Service organization located in Indianapolis, IN and will be a HYBRID role. The Senior Manager, Field Service Operations is a critical member of the Field Service Operations team, acting as the primary U.S. Field Service Coordination liaison.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Partner closely with Area Service Leaders to optimize coordination and support across the geography, improving standard work, associate development, overall process improvement initiatives
Be responsible for evaluating and executing on new technologies to maximize on ROI and deliver sustained results for the organization
Continuously work to optimize route planning and call assignments to drive service productivity and efficiency and reduce cost per mile
Identify and solve complex, operational problems, leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the functional group, and managing coordination expenses to achieve annual operating profit target including but not limited to overtime, parts and inventory management, etc.
Ensure clarity around priorities and facilitate goal-level creation for the broader function ensuring the goals cascade to all workers
Work with senior management and other peers for strategy development and execution planning, ability to present programs and KPI’s to senior leadership in a concise manner.
Manage deep root-cause programs to create focus, formulate a clear strategy (short and long vision) and maps the assertive steps that will clearly accelerate the organization toward its strategic goals.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or relevant medical systems design or other technical field with 7+ years relevant experience, including 4+ years managing people OR Master's degree in engineering, science or relevant medical systems design, chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or other technical field with 7+ years relevant experience including 4+ years managing people
Minimum of 3+ years of logistics/coordination experience
Exposure to P&L, and budget management experience
Advanced skills set in Excel and PowerPoint
Must be willing to travel approximately 15% of the time (within US)
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
ServiceMax
Oracle
Smartsheet
Salesforce
