Description
The L&D Manager has responsibility to provide optimum service level for a range of products, maintains the performance of BC or 3rdparty warehouse and monitors the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse within the area of responsibility.

The incumbent evaluates and recommends physical distribution strategies to support customer requirements; develops and implements process improvement projects to achieve cost reductions, improved quality, on-time deliveries, administration effectiveness and maximum space utilization; manages and controls incoming products; and ensures the finished goods inventory integrity.

Maintains compliance with ISO, IATA, FDA, DOT, OSHA, and related.

Manages local import/export duties according to Corporate and local regulations as well as Transportation, according to defined temperature specifications.

Responsible for Inventory planning to ensure Customers Service and Inventory levels are met as per defined target.

Furthermore, the incumbent is responsible for L&D Quality compliance including Training, Documentation, Customer feedback Management (Non Conformances), Cold Chain Management and hazardous goods regulatory compliance.

Acts as an Interface between Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, QA, Technical Service as well as Logistics teams in USA and Europe.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities: * High focus on Inventory management with special attention to inventory accuracy ensured through updated, and respected inventory control procedures. Ensure physical inventories and cycle counts are timely done and discrepancies identified and understood. * Establishes warehouse standards, procedures, performance levels and documentation requirements. * Monitors the L&D controllable expenses, investigates any deviation from the forecast and takes necessary actions in collaboration with Finance. Provides input to monthly forecast and budget as well as defining cost saving opportunities for the areas of responsibility. * Ensures working conditions are safe and secured and safety procedures are followed. * Is accountable to keep Past Due Backlog low as per defined target, to ensure customer satisfaction & on-time revenue recognition. * Provides technical and managerial guidance to subordinate supervisors or highly skilled individual contributors to achieve goals in accordance with established policies. Ensure work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules. * Responsible for hiring, firing and disciplinary decisions affecting employees * Develop/improve the competencies of associate’s and team efficiency * Ensure projects are completed on time within budget and manages the development of processes and procedures to implement functional strategies. * Take a leadership role in identified major projects which will bring improved customer satisfaction and leveraged expense costs to the organization * Responsible for the reverse logistics processes from customers and the field service, following respective Returned Material Procedures. * Maintain CPTK compliance with 3rdParty Partners and related Bowler * Ensure development & maintenance of KPI’s to provide visibility and measure departments and individuals performance. * Guide the team to integrate all relevant DBS tools (DM,VM,VSM,5S,PSP etc.) in their daily work and drive DBS culture. * Responsible to raise/escalate issues as per our Quality Processes, including opening CAPA if applicable.

Qualification
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Business degree and 9 years of relevant experience in a supply chain environment * Analytical and Leadership skills * Proven people management experience for 2 years * English, both written and verbal is mandatory, local language a must, additional language a plus * Customer oriented * Business astuteness and a broad understanding of Quote to Cash processes * Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure * Computer systems literate, good reporting capabilities * Strong organizational skills * Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
