Reports to: Country Sales Manager

The Technical Sales Consultant’s primary goal is to accomplish sales and profit objective for the respective territory through daily phone calls, customer visit and follow through.

Essential Duties, Critical Success Factors, Responsibilities, Authorities and Required Interactions:

  • Originate phone calls and customer visit, respond to incoming calls and provide technical information with regards to chromatography related products, basic troubleshooting and services

  • Ensure that assigned territory meets sales, gross profit, and unit goals and provide updates to Sales Manager regarding achievement of goals, trends and competition

  • Visit customers required 70% as well as attend vendor shows & Company sponsored trade shows

  • Implement account action plans, review performance and improve current account sales & support programs for your territory and manage and maintain information in customer database system

  • Develop relationships with new and existing customer and perform other job-related duties as requested

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology or other related Science required

  • Ability to present and communicate information effectively across different audiences

  • Knowledge of sales principles and methods of negotiation, and demonstrated advanced capability to identify business opportunities

  • Foundational knowledge of Chromatography

  • Sales experience preferred
