Danaher Corporation Sales & Application Specialist in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Role and Responsibilities
The position is primarily responsible to support Beckman Coulter’s customers by educating the end-users on Beckman instruments and promoting the BC solution to the end users being the industry golden standards. The incumbent will be responsible to drive sales results in the assigned territory.
Expected Travel and Time Management
80% of time spent in the field visiting customers
Job Requirements Include:
To achieve SMART goals and financial objectives in the designated territory.
Build long term relationships with the end users in his assigned territory by meeting customer needs
Promoting the portfolio of BC
Drive performance using the sales funnel and work closely on closing opportunities in coordination with the Business Unit Manager, Sales manager & the Channel Partners.
Develop and execute Key account plans in coordination with the sales managers, Business Manager & Channel Partner to close opportunities.
To follow up with end users and/or concerned department to generate RFQs.
To work closely with the customer service rep to arrange and submit quotations.
To actively engage in the price negotiation process with the procurement departments for the direct opportunities
Determines technical solutions in accordance with product and customer specifications.
Diagnoses and resolves technical issues (parameters, calibration and quality control).
Develops and delivers product training to end users as well as supporting field associates (sales and service).
Attend internal or external meetings related to BC product portfolio.
Support Channel Partners field associates and customers with clinical expertise.
Develop and support customer in regards to External Quality Control (RIQAS).
Ensure Installed Base receives adequate clinical support & support the Channel Partners when needed
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Knowledge / Experience Required
B. Sc. degree in Life Sciences, Medical Lab
Prior experience in the MB lab ( 3 years’ experience is a minimum)
Clinical and commercial driven individual
Fluent in English & Arabic
Ability to build excellent relationships with the different stakeholders including end-users, purchasing agents, Distributors.
Highly agile and flexible as extensive travel is required
Knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market
