We are currently seeking a successful candidate who will be responsible for representing our company in the cytometry hardware market. The candidate is expected to implement a sales plan designed to achieve established sales and financial goals; call on prospective and current company customers; involve technical personnel to resolve customer’s issues and problems as needed; participate in the establishment of sales targets and design of the territory's sales plan; and control sales expenses. Strategic sales targets include all Academic, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Industrial, etc. accounts.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Selling cytometry hardware to quotas assigned

  • Management of assigned territory accounts

  • Searching out new and competitive business and working with accounts to develop programs to expand and increase our influence and presence

The required qualifications for the job include:

  • Must live in the greater NYC, NJ, or greater Philadelphia area

  • Bachelor’s degree in field with 5+ years in hardware sales and or flow cytometry experience OR Master’s degree in a scientific field with 2+ years of hardware sales and or flow cytometry experience.

  • Must have practical experience and knowledge of flow cytometry equipment

  • Highly motivated and success driven.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Excellent time and territory management habits

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Solid understanding of tactical sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing existing customers) strongly preferred

  • Experience with CRM preferably SFDC, and Microsoft Office programs

The salary range for this role is $82,000-$92,000 This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
