We are looking for a Sales Specialist to develop and execute a successful sales strategy for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in the N. NJ and Metro NYC territory. The Sales Specialist will work collaboratively with sales and service counterparts to achieve Leica Biosystems performance targets and exceed customer expectations.
All the responsibilities we will trust you with:
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual product sales goals set for the territory
Work in coordination with local teamMaintain and ensure accurate and timely prospects and customer data in SFDCAchieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistanceCoordinate product demos, installs, and customer training when requireInstall/set-up & train when necessary instrumentation in customer laboratories and performdemonstrations.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role: BA/BS Degree requiredMinimum 3-5 years relevant sales (or equivalent) experience. Capital Equipment preferred.Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Salesforce preferred.
Internal Candidate Requirements:Promotion - P2 GCRF level applicant:o Perform 90%+ to quota 2 out of 3 years (Within year is year to date)o 18 months in role (or business justification)Lateral Move - P3 GCRF level applicant:o Perform 85%+ to quota year to dateo 18 months in role (or business justification)o Requires Sales Director approvalInternal Applications Specialist candidate requirements:o 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing / Applications Specialist role.o Requires Sales Director approval.o Applicant’s manager must be able to confirm the following: Associate has proven experiencedriving attachment; has confidence having difficult conversations with customers and hasstrong partnership with sales counterparts, including the uncovering of sales leads.
