The role will be part our Cevec team, hybrid based. Cevec focuses on solving some of the industry’s biggest challenges in gene therapy: namely, establishing production processes that can keep up with the increasing demand for quantity and consistent quality of viral vectors.

What you’ll do

  • Develop marketing plan and promotion strategy.

  • Interact with cross-functional teams to showcase the breadth of capabilities within the Cytiva Gene Therapy Cell Line offering and includes the development of unique commercial tools that facilitate successful customer interactions.

  • Support short and long-term Gene Therapy strategic planning efforts and associated high impact initiatives/tactics.

  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and support the execution of marketing programs/campaign from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.

  • Ensure that field marketing plans are aligned with your global marketing plan and collaborate with field marketing on selecting the appropriate marketing mix.

  • Provide commercial teams product knowledge in product use, differentiation, positioning, and pricing.

  • Identify target regions and define market trends and competitive landscape.

  • Develop inputs to support NPI development and product positioning.

  • Partner with KOLs to build awareness and identify future product needs.

  • Manage budget needed to execute marketing plan and ensure timely implementation of programs in marketing plan.

Who you are

  • Experience within Bioprocess or Gene therapy/Viral vectors, Experience Cell Line or Cell Line Development is a plus.

  • Has knowledge of Marketing best practices and how Product Marketing integrates with Product Management as well as Commercial teams; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Life Sciences, or related field with min. 5 years of relevant experience in the industry, including at least 3 years of marketing experience working with Bioprocess, Cell therapy, Gene Therapy or Viral Vectors

  • Demonstrated experience of successful cross-functional collaboration, innovation (develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas) and influencing skills (ability to motivate individuals/ teams and demonstrate organizational influence)

  • Team oriented, excellent communications skills, strong analytical and process skills​
