APAC Customer Care is a frontline team that ensures our customers success across the region, by delivering a comprehensive set of support services from our Technical Support Centers across the regions to Field Services delivering onsite repair and maintenance for Cepheid systems.
The APAC Data Analyst, reporting to the APAC BDM, is in charge of collecting, organizing and interpreting data to make it useful for specific Business development projects and Customer Care managers. He/She assumes ownership of data from analysis, reporting to presenting to management.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interprets data trends, builds and prepares monthly/weekly reports as required
Is adept in creating ad hoc reporting from Salesforce.com and SAP and familiar with the Salesforce report builder, dashboards.
Advises on the effectiveness of the data and suggest improvements
Removes any potentially corrupted data
Identifies key business areas
Produces weekly, monthly and on demand reports
Collects business needs for new reporting needs
Gets alignment of APAC Customer Care team on local and global reporting needs
Presents results and analysis to the leadership team at regular intervals
Analyzes risk, issues, and opportunities, and takes proactive ownership to resolve reporting issues as they arise
Highlight potential obstacles to successful ensure reporting
Works cross-functionally across all departments and regions as needed
Uses standard project management process, method and tools
Applies Danaher best practices and processes
Learn, use and deploy appropriate DBS tools to support successful completion of reporting
Education or Experience (in years):
Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years of related work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business intelligence or Data analyst work experience, especially in customer service. 3-5 years’ experience preferred.

Computer Skills –
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), e-mail, web browsers and spreadsheet software.
Demonstratable ability to quickly develop expertise in data reporting from ERP and CRM systems. Experience with SAP and Salesforce.com essential. Use of Analytics tools such as Salesforce Einstein and BI tools desirable.
Understands the concepts of relational databases, may be familiar with query tools such as SQL or SOQL
Is familiar with bulk data correction and data upload techniques
