Role description

The position is responsible for managing both direct clients and channel partners in defined territory. The focus is to optimize business in the given territory while driving profitable revenue growth.

In addition, need to work closely with business support functions (CS/SCM/Finance/Pune Mfg Plant) on day-to-day basis to accomplish assigned targets.

Summary of the Role

  • The candidate would be looking after existing FTAP customers in regions of Maharashtra/Goa & Part of MP pertaining to M&E market segments.

  • He will work towards developing new client base in the region through share gain .

    Specific Responsibilities that you would own:

  • Work as a team member to focus and achieve monthly Sales & order booking targets

  • Providing monthly order forecasts with clear accountability on achieving it (Say-To- Do)

  • Acquisition of new and development of existing customers in Automotive, Primary metals, General Industries & OEM segments

  • Establish and maintain broad network and key relationships with customers, partners, influencers, and other industry contacts

  • Participate in regular business reviews, using our SFDC system for funnel and forecast review

  • Drive value selling and value communication actions at key accounts

  • Conceptualize and execute pricing and service agreements with key accounts.

  • Meet weekly customer visit targets and generate sales opportunities

  • Prepares and maintains all sales documentation (Sales Funnel, Account Profile, etc.) and ensures updated maintenance in SFDC system

  • Understand customer requirement and offer correct product/technology solution.

  • Ensure timely submission of technical and commercial offer.

  • Regular follow up with customers to conclude the order

  • Coordination/Teamwork with CS team, supply chain & Service teams to ensure fulfillment of order to customer satisfaction.

  • On time payment collection from customers

  • Monitor and analyze competition activities in the sales territory

    Qualifications:

Engineering/Diploma in Mechanical or Automotive stream with 5+ years of experience in Sales – Preferably exposure to Automotive segments, Steel & General Industries

Position Competencies (must haves for the position) :

  • Active listener and clear communicator

  • Willingness to travel up to 75%

  • Having growth mindset with strong sales acumen

  • Open to learning & exploring to keep abreast of sales trends, new technologies and activities in our industry

  • Technical sales in a business-to-business environment

  • Experience of generating leads, winning accounts, and identifying sales opportunities.

  • Experience of journey planning – evidence of running a sales territory and coverage thereof.
