POSITION SUMMARY:

The RSM- West will manage the Revenue for West India Business. This Sales Leader will provide leadership direction to the West Sales Team to achieve the said budget for the region. This Leader will Identify, develop, manage and retain revenue-generating opportunities for the organization through the strategic and tactical sales and support of all product and service lines. Directly, or indirectly, manages the process from lead validation to product and services delivery, working with marketing, customer service, operations and delivery providers to ensure the highest level of supply chain management is delivered to customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Location: Mumbai/Ahmedabad

  • Develop and manage the business for West India by providing dynamic leadership for the Sales organization to ensure financial objectives are met.

  • Maximize business opportunities and grow revenue across the product portfolio for Pharma/Biopharma/CRO’s/Food Safety/Clinical & Academia Market segments.

  • Develop and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships including Subject Matter Experts, senior managers and key customers in the Life Sciences industry in West India as required.

  • Develop a strong leadership with the Sales Team implementing SFDC for managing the Core Opportunities; observe customers and gather insights beyond VOC; encourages team to pool their insights to determine if there are new data to consider, to drive business growth. Funnel Management is the key to drive to meet our target & Business Growth.

  • Work closely with the Marketing Team, KAMs and the customers across the region to help organize marketing events, Marketing Campaigns, CMEs, Conferences etc. Work with the Sales and Application Team to Organize Seminars, Webinars, Technical Demonstrations, Round Table Meetings (RTMs) etc for creating brand awareness.

  • Drive rigorous business processes using DBS; Develop and own a robust sales funnel to drive customer retention and competitive wins.

  • Create an environment of Psychological Safety in which people want to do their best and recognize the team for successes and takes accountability for his/ her own role in any failures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s /Master’s/BTech degree in Life Sciences with 10+ years of experience in Life Science/Biotechnology/Analytical Instrumentation Industry.

  • Degree in Management will be an added advantage.

  • 3-5 Years Experience of People Management will be preferred.

  • Good oral and written communication skills. Skilled in MS Word, Power-point and excel applications.
