We are looking for a GSC Planning Functional Lead to collaborate with global sites and expert IT team across the world to d eliver results for critical needs in our supply chain organization. What you’ll do

Responsible for design and executing the strategy for material, manufacturing, and distribution planning. You will work in partnership with site functional and system leads to collect, coordinate requirements with multiple stakeholder teams to achieve tangible customer outcome with clear and descriptive set of requirements and deliver standard product functionality by balancing customer need with business strategy.In this role, your priority is seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders including but not limited to: Material Planners, Supply Chain Planners, Demand Planners, Commercial Team, Application Managers, Technical Product Owners and Technical Architects.

You’ll do the following:

  • Responsible and accountable for continuous improvement and efficiencies across the Company’s products, systems, operations and processes.

  • Harmonize and align the governance process for systems development

  • This role demands to be proactive and provides a clear advantage in the workplace - identify business improvement opportunities within the organization at early stage

  • Collaborating with material, manufacturing and distribution action plan owners on creation and updating inventory turns improvement action plans

  • Holding periodic reviews of actions plans with site leaders to address issues and keep teams on track to achieve action plan items

  • Establishing and implementing new standard work processes across finished good distribution sites to improve inventory sizing and turns

  • Analysis and optimization of inventory footprint to enable inventory turns improvement while improving customer on-time delivery (OTD)

  • Partners with cross-functional teams to understand the business processes, determine the technology, configuration and integration needed to realize business goals, objectives.

  • Serves as liaison to IT to translate, prioritize requirements.

  • Drives the system strategic roadmap in partnership with IT teams.

  • Translates functional needs into standard global platform requirements.

  • Engages continuously with IT teams and vendors to understand their roadmap and upcoming features

Who you are

  • BS/BA in Supply Chain / Manufacturing or similar discipline is preferred

  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills in English

  • Strong Business Analysis skills and ability to translate requirements to standard enterprise software features

  • Likely to be an expert in lean methodologies with a Master Black Belt or equivalent qualification. Coaches, trains and assesses others.

  • Lean, Six Sigma certifications - who can lead land lean the process before digitization.

  • Ability to work in a global environment and accommodate time zone differences as needed.

  • Ensure understanding of issues and presents clear rationale. Able to speak to mutual needs and win-win solutions. Uses two-way communication to influence outcomes and ongoing results

  • Effective team building and problem-solving abilities

  • Lead by example with ability to influence decision making, facilitate groups with diverse perspectives and bring teams to agreement.

  • Previous experience in the life science, bio-tech or pharma industries.

  • Technical knowledge of Oracle ASCP, Oracle Demantra and BI is a strong advantage

  • Flexibility to travel when required - up to 25%
