We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work with our expert Digital team of 20 employees across the world. Do you have a passion for Digital Enablement and IoT? Then we would love to hear from you.
What you'll do
Actively contribute to Cytiva Digital products as part of our Agile software teams.
Identify and analyze non-functional requirements to create technical design specifications.
Work with product owners to create clear user stories for development.
Work with product owners and other developers to ensure that application requirements are clearly documented and testable.
Work with QA and testing teams to design test strategies for functional, performance and security related requirements.
Prepare applications for penetration testing and provide technical leadership for threat remediation activities.
Prepare design documentation, risk analyses, threat models, failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) and other technical artifacts.
Drive compliance with software development standards such as GAMP5.
Track completion of design and risk mitigation activities.
Participate in program meetings and planning sessions.
Who you are
STEM Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree desired).
5 years professional experience in developing enterprise software applications.
Experience with requirements analysis and design verification.
Knowledge of cybersecurity threats, mitigations and secure software design practices.
Experience with failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA).
Knowledge of software development standards and best practices.
Skilled in breaking down problems, developing a detailed understanding of issues, estimating efforts and communicating rationale for design decisions.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Must be able and willing to work out of an office located in Krakow, Poland.
Experience with design patterns, object-oriented design.
Experience with cloud native services (AWS preferred), microservices, serverless technologies and containerization.
Experience with regulated software development, formal verification and related standards (e.g. GxP/GAMP5).
Experience working as part of a global team across multiple time zones.
Experience with Agile development methods, automated testing and CI/CD tools.
