What you’ll do

  • You will help in introducing web testing automation for IT systems used by Cytiva Research and Development teams.

  • You will define and adjust test strategies, develop test scripts and educate functional and IT partners to facilitate transition from manual to automated testing.

  • You will develop and maintain knowledge about integrations and essential data flows between R&D applications and broader IT ecosystem.

  • You will leverage existing monitoring and alerting features or develop your own to enable prompt reaction to any anomalies impacting data flow between systems.

  • You will maintain strong relationship with the team supporting enterprise integration platform (Boomi) and will partner with, learn from and educate other IT and functional teams supporting and using interconnected applications.

Who you are

  • You are a self-starter with curiosity for technology, ability to learn, adapt and manage multiple priorities.

  • You have prior automation experience with Java and Selenium including developing new tests and using Git repositories. Knowledge of QA methodologies and techniques would be a plus.

  • You are willing to explore DevOps side of testing and engage in tasks such as setting up and maintaining Jenkins server, defining jobs and ensuring they run smoothly.

  • You are familiar with web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JS, REST, XML, JSON, SOAP.

  • You have practical knowledge of relational databases and demonstrated experience in scripting or developing software.

  • You know how to work efficiently with cross-functional IT teams across various technologies.

  • You are a good communicator with strong facilitation, coordination and interpersonal skills.
