The Senior Manager, User Experience at Cytiva is responsible for leading the design team of 5 associates and fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment within the design team.
This position is part of the Brand Marketing department and is located at our office in Krakow, Poland with three days in the office and two days mobile work. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
Lead and manage a team of UX designers, UI designers and researchers to deliver user-centred design solutions for our flagship dotcom property as well as standalone and integrated software solutions
Foster and develop a high performance UX team by selecting talented designers and continuously develop their skills
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of user-centric products aligned to business goals and design standards
Drive and actively advocate user centred design process and customer first mindset in the team and across the organization
Engage in project planning and scoping to support business needs and design opportunities, setting teams up for success
Who you are:
University Degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
Several years of professional experience in user experience design, with a proven track record of delivering innovative and user-centric solutions
First experience in a leading or UX team management role
Portfolio demonstrating impactful UX craft. Hands on experience and leading teams that create similar work
Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, InVision and/or other design and prototyping software
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
UX design experience in healthcare, or life sciences preferred
