Danaher Corporation Business Operations Data Analyst, EMEA in Krefeld, Germany

POSITION SUMMARY:

As part of the EMEA Business Operations Team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive analytics to support the EMEA Commercial Ops’ strategic, operational and revenue goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partners with functional business teams to help them analyze business trends by developing and implementing analytical tools and dashboards

  • Drives strong collaboration with sales and marketing to support the Commercial growth and specific projects including customer experience, go-to markets and products conversions

  • Partners with Order Management & Master Data Management Team to help on the daily management of SAP linked to customer data or product data

  • Manages the Order Allocation Engine in SAP and the manual allocation process

  • Coordinates with different departments and stakeholders to implement allocation plans

  • Close monitoring of allocations to ensure they are performed accurately and on time in order to maintain the flow of inventory and to meet customer requirements

  • Supports and drive initiatives to improve backlog management and backlog reports

  • Develops new BI / Power BI reports adapted to the business dynamics and develops strategic partnerships with regional leadership to better enable organizational capability through KPIs

  • Monitors the access to BI, the security of the roles, the onboarding for new users.

  • Produces monthly, quarterly and on demand reports as required

  • Presents results and analysis to the leadership team at regular intervals

  • Analyses risk, issues, and opportunities, and takes proactive ownership to resolve reporting issues as they arise

  • Uses standard project management process, method and tools

  • Applies Danaher best practices and processes

  • Learn, use and deploy appropriate DBS tools to support successful completion of reporting

  • Support the EMEA Business Operations Manager for specific requests linked to the reporting for the US or interactions with global teams

TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES: (REQUIRED)

  • Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time

  • Ensure your associates attend and complete all required trainings satisfactorily and on time

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education or Experience (in years):

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience

Knowledge and skills:

  • Fluency in English

  • Experience with SAP (preferred) or other ERP

  • Experience with BI

  • Experience with SFDC

  • Experience with DBS or similar business system is preferred

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel

  • Operates with transparency and humility

  • Acts as a role model for high ethical standards and code of conduct

  • Strong organizational and problems solving skills

  • Adept at building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and customers

  • Ability to effectively manage time and priorities between multiple ongoing projects

  • An exposure to data visualization tools and complex databases would be a plus

Other:

  • Willingness to travel up 20% of the time
