Do you have a marketing background with strong change management skills and passion for continuous improvement? We are currently looking for a Sr. Brand Manager, Flow Cytometry at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences to support the growth of our flow cytometry portfolio!

Job Description

The Sr. Brand Manager will use market and branding knowledge coupled with a deep understanding of customer needs to create a holistic portfolio branding strategy and subsequent content generation. Additionally, the successful candidate will have strong desire to enable others to succeed by driving continual process improvement through the thoughtful implementation of Danaher Business System tools.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support the development and implementation of the BioDiscovery Flow Cytometry brand strategy to differentiate and position our portfolio as a leader across customer segments.

  • Be an internal champion and agent of change for brand strategy and architecture through projects such as workflow content messaging, Seismic strategic deployment, website content, and internal communication initiatives.

  • Ensure strategic approaches to branding are integrated into our NPI (new product introduction) process, working with all relevant business partners, including product managers.

  • Collaborate across the organization to develop and implement brand messaging that uses brand strategy to connect content across the enterprise.

  • Support development of the DBS capabilities in the BioDiscovery Flow Cytometry organization by maintaining a kaizen funnel, supporting certified practitioners in their journey, and maintaining a PSP funnel.

  • Serve as a change facilitator in support of creating a continuous improvement culture through problem solving exercises.

  • Facilitate and conduct growth and leadership training programs, Kaizen events, and other DBS activities as needed.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, including experience in commercial marketing, digital marketing, brand strategy and management, and brand messaging and positioning

  • Experience in flow cytometry highly preferred

  • Strong familiarity with best practices to measure and assess brand equity

  • Excellent attention to detail and project management skills

  • Exceptional relationship building skills in a cross-functional, highly matrixed global environment

  • Strong group facilitation/instructing skills, including public speaking and moderating

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • DBS, Lean and/or Six Sigma skills tools to drive Core Value Driver results and Kaizens to drive continuous improvement.

  • Logic and meticulous problem solving (PSP) tools and methods to tackle difficult problems and ability to guide others.
