Danaher Corporation New Business Development Sales Representative Hamburg (m/w/d) in Krefeld (Dusseldorf), Germany

Position

In this position, the you will be responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on product. The Business Development Manager establishes professional relationships with primary focus on the acquisition of new customers and developing the business in future segments in the Invitro Diagnostics markets.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop sales strategies, maintain key account plans and identify growth opportunities by analysing market, territory including prospecting for new customers establish relationships with them

  • Managing relationship with existing customers

  • Implementation of a defined action plan aligned with the sales strategy

  • Ensure commercial follow up of customers

  • Achieve the budget within conditions set by management

  • In collaboration with colleagues, lead the following stage of the opportunities to successfully win them, though technical presentation/demos at customer sites

  • Identify growth opportunities

  • Develop and maintain an accurate weekly forecast of sales projects substantiated by accurate documentation and planned follow-up actions

  • Continually develop knowledge of products, market and industry trends, competition and customer strategies for potential development

  • Actively participate in development of the territory annual operating plan

What makes you an ideal fit for the role:

  • At least 4 years of sales experience, ideally in New Business Development, acquisition of new customers

  • experienced in building up relationships with new account

  • experienced in a sales role with a focus on automated solution/concept selling/consultancy selling environment

  • proven knowledge in branches industry, medical devices, aerospace and maritime branch or any other complex highly regulated engineering sector

  • BSc in Life Sciences or Technical Engineering

  • Solid understanding of sales skills including, prospecting, qualifying, closing and growing existing customers and leading/project handling tender responses

  • Results orientated, highly driven, self-motivated with the determination to succeed within a fast-paced and very sophisticated environment.

  • Excellent listening skills, with a self-motivated and results driven personality

  • Ability to analyse the actual market situation and identify potential new prospective accounts to accelerate business growth

  • Proven business experience in Germany

  • A forward-thinking and resourceful approach with excellent attention to detail

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • You speak German and English

  • Location: ideally near Hamburg
