Strategic Account Manager aka 'Change Agent'

If so, then IDBS is hiring. IDBS is looking for a Strategic Account Manager, aka 'Change Agent' to join our US Sales team.

As an IDBS Strategic Account Manager, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team to tackle some of the most formidable challenges in R&D, Data Management, Preclinical Sciences, Biologics Development, and Analytical sciences.

We are excited by technology, its impact on R&D organizations and are looking for an outstanding candidate to join our team and contribute to our continued success. You may ask, why the Change Agent? It is because we are changing the way that R&D organizations manage data. We are solving some of the biggest R&D challenges and challenging our status quo, e.g., how we are doing it.

Key Opportunities:

  • Seek and build opportunities to expand business with current clients identifying further business needs, developing and presenting solutions

  • Grow existing accounts and prospective clients to full potential and generate maximum revenue on a long-term basis.

  • Maintain and develop client relations for new and larger established existing customers, to maximize customer satisfaction and develop need-based marketing relations

  • Analyze existing and anticipated client needs and promote company services to fill such requirements

  • Lead the preparation and implementation of accurate sales and business development plans, sales forecasts and strategies

  • Formulate the overall objectives and strategy to develop a high-value relationship within all targeted areas of the accounts

  • Understand prospective client’s culture, product portfolio, competitive position, financial state, investment plan, organization structure and key decision-makers

  • Maintain the IDBS CRM while encouraging effective working practices with cross-functionally.

  • The Following Qualifications Are Required

  • Typically has 10+ years of sales experience and adept in guiding a 12-18-month sale cycle

  • Accustom to dealing with complex deals and multiple partners, including VP and C-level decision-makers

  • Experience with a relevant sales methodology, Challenger Sale preferred

  • Scientific or engineering a Sales background preferred
