The Business Analyst, Oracle EBS for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for collaborating with various business functions including but not limited to Commercial, Logistics & Distribution, Manufacturing, and Finance; Evaluates their business needs, and translates those needs into system solutions.

This position is part of the IT Department located in Hong Kong and will be a hybrid work arrangement. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the APAC Enterprise Information System team and report to the Regional IT Site manager responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and providing strategic recommendations for optimizing the utilization of company ERP systems. You will involve collaborating with stakeholders to understand their business needs, configuring the ERP system, and ensuring its alignment with organizational goals. Also, plays a key role in supporting end-users, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement within the ERP environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for Oracle ERP modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Commerical).

  • Conduct analysis and gap assessments to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions that maximize the utilization of Oracle ERP systems.

  • Configure Oracle ERP modules to meet business needs, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle ERP systems with other applications and platforms.

  • Monitor system performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.

  • Stay up-to-date with Oracle ERP releases, updates, and best practices, and proactively communicate and train end-users on new features and functionalities.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the security, integrity, and availability of Oracle ERP systems and data.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Management or other related majors

  • Min 2 years experience as an Oracle ERP Business Analyst

  • Strong understanding of Oracle ERP modules, with a focus on one of the areas – preferably in Supply Chain, manufacturing and their interdependencies.

  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle ERP configuration, customization, and integration capabilities.

  • Experience with Oracle ERP implementation projects, including requirements gathering, system configuration, and user acceptance testing.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Oracle ERP applications database architecture, as well as Oracle database and development tools (PL/SQL, SQL Plus, Forms, Reports)

  • Microsoft PowerBI
