Danaher Corporation IT Interoperability Manager in Lane Cove, Australia

We are looking to hire a motivated and strategic IT Interoperability Manager to drive focus and growth of our POC IT Solutions. Interacting in high level discussions with customers to understand their needs and present our solution appropriately. The role will be pivotal in driving growth and cementing the Radiometer offering in healthcare across pacific. The IT Interoperability Manager will be the conduit between our customers and cross-functional teams internally ensuring high level outcomes for our customers. As subject matter expert for what is possible and a comprehensive ability to understand customer needs to ensure our offering is fit for purpose.

This role is unique in that IT is a rapidly growing part of the business and is a less mature product area in the entire healthcare industry. With more uncertainties around regulations and increased data scrutiny, it is essential for this candidate to have IT knowledge in a clinical setting and be able to quickly understand, communicate, and innovate solutions within a commercial setting.

Through developing strong relationships with the identified strategic accounts. They will develop a deep understanding of the customers strategic goals and structure, align Radiometer’s messaging and solutions to promote growth of the business. In doing so identifying, developing, and engaging key stakeholders across organisations and within the market.

Your primary role will be as a key support to the business and to develop product knowledge at a subject matter expert level.

Additionally, you will be contributing to developing and executing marketing activities to launch new products and to secure growth. The post holder will liaise with various facets of the business, across the region and internationally.

The post holder will be a member of the Radiometer Pacific leadership team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define, deliver, and execute upon strategic plan to drive growth of the Radiometer POC IT solutions, AQURE and Live Connect.

  • Will have a holistic view of AQURE and Live Connect and how they integrate with the customers IT infrastructure.

  • Through expert knowledge of the POC IT product line and capabilities will build relationships between Local and Global Teams.

  • Develop positioning and messaging for Radiometer and its products for IT.

  • Define market development strategies for Radiometer within the POC IT segment.

  • Define optimal customer experience for the Alt. Site Segments by conducting extensive VoC to build a comprehensive customer experience definition for the target segments, socialize the findings and drive action to execute.

  • Own and manage the core IT product’s product lifecycle. Including, but not limited to: market analysis, conducting Voice of the Customer, product/feature development, pricing, back-office implementation, launch, training, lead generation, funnel management.

  • Manage other IT-related products related to: Internet of Things (IoT), E-learning, Cybersecurity

  • Develop and communicate local marketing and strategy plans. Present business cases to and execute plans with local and global colleagues in Marketing Communications (MarCom) and leadership.

  • Track and communicate sales KPIs to sales and leadership.

  • Identify and innovate ways to develop and promote IT product with other Radiometer products.

  • Train to be able to assist sales managers in implementation (installation and customization) of IT product as technical product expert at customer side.

  • Expected to balance time between PM technical application/fault finding. Possess a vision to develop within Radiometer.

Measurement Metrics

  • Meet commercial KPIs in terms of lead generation, revenue, install base, contract renewals, and customer satisfaction.

  • Effective use of DBS growth tools: visual daily management, action plans, problem-solving process, commercial daily management.

  • Meet personal development objectives set with manager according to local and global business needs.

  • Collaborate to drive the strategic direction of the product lines in conjunction with the Leadership and Sales teams to grow and strengthen the position in the market.

  • Identify, develop and activate external experts in support of the product strategy to create awareness and build peer-to-peer communication.

  • Assist and develop the successful execution of product launches, marketing initiatives and campaigns.

  • Work closely with the Sales team to assist with trouble shooting and training.

  • Support product manager to develop marketing initiatives that meet business goals and revenue targets by collaborating with internal departments.

  • Develop marketing programs that include customer-facing material and lead-generating campaigns.

  • Help organise key conferences, events and trade shows to promote and engage with External Experts as speakers.

  • Develop over time as a subject matter specialist, demonstrating expertise on products, competitors and clinical and scientific topics.

  • Work closely with all business units to ascertain the tools, support and knowledge you require to ensure you are confident and comfortable with the product line.

  • Suggest which ideas should be promoted to push the product strategy forward — namely those that will achieve key objectives for the product line and business.

  • Develop your product knowledge to a level that will be able to support internal training for staff and develop methods to benchmark proficiencies across the organisation.

  • Supporting internal and external customer queries, assist with managing product allocation and regulatory issues.

  • Assist with tender responses as required.

  • Maintain Radiometer’s high level of customer service both internally and externally.

  • No two days are ever the same and other duties may be required from time to time.

Qualifications:

Academic

Essential

  • Tertiary technical degree in areas such as: healthcare informatics, engineering, IT or equivalent proven experience.

Desirable

  • MBA

  • Marketing qualification

Knowledge Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Ideally have experience in the healthcare industry or in a hospital setting or Lab diagnostics.

  • Strong ability to adapt to and persuade audiences from different business areas and with varying objectives: sales, clinicians, IT experts, R&D, marketing professionals, management.

  • Can manage multiple projects and product groups, with varying stakeholders, in parallel.

  • Ability to adapt to fluctuations in the business and not lose momentum or energy to drive projects to completion.

  • Technically adept. Very comfortable with modern technology. Can quickly understand new digital technologies and modern healthcare trends. Has confidence in communicating with engineers and technical IT customers.

  • Demonstrates humility and has a desire to learn from others.

  • Comfortable presenting and influencing management, local and global colleagues, and customers.

  • Influencing without authority.

  • Team player.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Radiometer products and solutions.

  • Marketing or sales experience for 5+ years in a commercial environment.

  • Competent Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) user.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

Internal

You will be interacting primarily with your POC IT business unit and the sales and marketing colleagues. Cross-departmental cooperation with sales staff and colleagues in Technical Support/QA, order/invoicing, and customer support is expected.

External

Create and maintain strong relationships with customers and key buyer influencers. Frequent interaction with Radiometer Headquarters in Copenhagen and IT Project manager in other sales subsidiaries for knowledge sharing.
